Wild Flowers
Latin name:Anemone nemorosa. Flowers March to May in ancient decidous woodland. A member of the buttercup family it is equally poisonous. They droop gracefully before opening fully and were said in mythology to spring from the tears of Venus weeping over the death of Adonis.
